Introducing Nick Peck - St. Neots Lawn Tennis Club Head Coach

Nick Peck is currently the Head Coach at St Neots Tennis Club in Cambridgeshire working as the Club Coach and managing their Community Tennis Programme. The club is Tennis Clubmark approved ensuring they deliver a quality tennis development programme and operate in line with best practice.

Nick has been tennis coaching for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience working with children from aged 4 right up to adults of over 70. He coaches from beginner to county standard on an individual or group lesson basis.

Coaching Experience and Background

Nick has played tennis from the age of 6 and had regular weekly coaching lessons and played in tournaments in and around Cambridgeshire until he was about 13. He continued with coaching before going off to university where he studied Sport & Fitness Management for 3 years. Here he undertook his level 2 DCA Development Coach award and began tennis coaching at his local club in March, Cambridgeshire. Nick had a short period coaching at Cambridge LTC before becoming the Club Coach at St. Neots in 2004. Since then he has increased his qualification to level 4 CCA Club Coach award enabling him to give tennis lessons to county level to both children and adults.

Nick is also a qualified cricket coach and works occasionally for his local club in March.
